The following project proposals were prepared and submitted for International project calls:

(Stage 1), Project Proposal No.: 101250246-1, Title: "FOTONIKA-LV - National Centre of Excellence for Photonics Sciences and Space Research", Acronym: FOTONIKA-LV, Coordinator: University of Latvia (A. Ubelis), Partners: Lund University (Sweden), University of Muenster (Germany), Budget: EUR 15 million from European Commission and EUR 15 million from local funds, Duration of the project: 6 years, Project scope: The project aims to develop and sustain the center of excellence.   1. V01. Call: “MikroTik project competition in the field of natural, technological, and medical sciences”, Call deadline: 10.01.2025. Title: “Modernization of the Fundamental Geodynamic Observatory's Global Navigation Satellite System Receiver' from the University of Latvia EZTF AI.” Coordinator: University of Latvia (K. Salmins). Budget: 35 000 EUR. Project status: project was approved for funding
